Database solutions are well suited for companies and organizations who gather information on a daily basis.  This information generally will grow over time.  In the early stages of growth it is relatively easy to manage data.  Typical approaches to managing this data is file folders, file cabinets along with electronic spreadsheets, documents and purchased computer programs.
